Zach Braff cut a one-year deal with Scrubs producers guaranteeing him about $350,000 an episode, provided NBC renews the medical sitcom for a seventh season, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The deal would make Braff one of the highest-paid actors on television. However, he’s nowhere near Charlie Sheen who earns somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million an episode for Two and a Half Men.

Sean “Diddy” Combs denied a real estate broker’s claim that the rapper assaulted him at a post-Oscar party last month. Gerard Rechnitzer sued Combs for an undisclosed amount exceeding $25,000, alleging that the rapper punched him in the face outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Feb. 25. Police continued to investigate the incident; no charges have been filed. The guy allegedly called him Dippy so Diddy allegedly smacked him.
Spider-Man 3 will make its worldwide debut in Japan on May 1, three days before swinging into domestic theaters, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced. The film’s stars and director are expected to attend an April 16 premiere in Tokyo. The man in tights swings into Japan ready to rumble.

Tickets for Michael Jackson’s VIP party and fan art competition in Tokyo this week are still available, promoters said Tuesday. Tickets to the VIP event on Thursday are going for $3,500 a piece, which includes the privilege of 30 seconds of face time with Jackson. Tickets to the art show on Friday are selling for $130. Promoters declined to say how many tickets were left, or how much Jackson was paid for the appearances. Hey, he lets little boys in for free!
